Summer event of sea bathing and fireworks that you can enjoy at Izu Inatori Onsen

2020.07.19

The Inatori Onsen Tourism Association will hold the “Inatori Onsen Fireworks Dance” and “Iso Sea Garden IKEJIRI” events this summer at Inatori Onsen, which is located on the east coast of Izu.

Three features of "Inatori Onsen Fireworks Ensemble"

1. Basically, you can see it from the guest room of the inn
“Inatori Onsen Fireworks Ensemble” is basically supposed to be seen from the guest room of the inn. It will be launched from 3 locations on July 26th and August 2nd at the same time, so you can see it from almost all the inns in Inatori. Since there is no one launch site, there are no people gathering and it is a fireworks display where you can prevent the new coronavirus infection by avoiding three crowds. You can enjoy the fireworks rising in front of you from the room of the inn you are staying at.

2. Launch time is about 10 minutes
Fireworks that open and disappear suddenly have a ephemeral effect, but because of such fireworks, Inatori Onsen does not launch for 30 minutes or an hour. It will be launched for about 10 minutes centered on Star Mine, and you can see it from the guest room, so it does not take time to move. Then you can enjoy the hot springs at the leisurely ryokan.

3. The sight is stress-free! No night stores, no congestion
Basically, it is intended for tourists to watch from the guest rooms of the ryokan, but for guests of the ryokan (only 1 out of 16) where fireworks cannot be seen and local residents, from 3 places in the Inatori area You can see the rising fireworks at your favorite place. You can see the fireworks that are launched at three places from the hill at the same time, or you can see the powerful fireworks at one place up close. Because the launch time is 10 minutes, there is no need to open a night shop in a fixed place, so you can watch fireworks without stress in the viewing space.

Iso Sea Garden IKEJIRI

1. It has the shape of a “pond” and the waves do not come in (except for typhoons etc.), so even small children can play with peace of mind.

2. It’s not a sandy beach, but a rocky beach, so you can snorkel to see colorful fish, catch crabs and shrimps, and experience that you can never do on the beach. This year, you can see the ikesu where the fish are swimming from above.

3. If the water is deep at high tide, or if you are afraid of the sea, there is a pool (seawater) for your peace of mind.

4. After all, cospa is high! Free parking. The facility usage fee (use of pool, water shower, changing room) is 200 yen for adults, 100 yen for children (3 years old to elementary school students), which is a conscientious fee, so 600 yen for a family of 2 children You can play the day.

These reasons are spreading through word of mouth and SNS, and the number of beach guests is increasing year by year. For this year, as a measure against new coronavirus infection, please fill in the temperature measurement and name/address/phone number at the reception of the pool. The maximum number of users of the pool is 50, and the congestion status will be updated every hour on the website.

Also, the “Sazae-Abalone Grab-grabbing Tournament” held at this Ikejiri beach is a popular event every year, and many little children participate.
