Our flagship cake, created by Chef Patissier Akiyama Toshinobu and our chocolatiers, is a dream-like chocolate jewelry box filled with a wide variety of sweets.
The upper tier features nine petit gâteaux inspired by sparkling jewelry, while the lower tier is decorated with a gorgeous wreath of cinnamon and star anise. The jewel box contains a marron mousse with vanilla and orange cream accents for a gentle flavor, and a La France and caramel mousse with a hint of spice.

New "Cottonberry Shortcake"

Limited to a total of 50 cars only on the 24th and 25th, reservation required
【12cm×12cm】15,000yen

Cottonberries, a rare white strawberry produced in Nara Prefecture, have a light peach color, pure white flesh, and a sweet yet moderately tart flavor. The cotton berries are the main ingredient in this delicacy, which is made with carefully selected ingredients such as high-quality flour from Hokkaido, rich-tasting eggs from roosters, and an original blend of fresh cream that was blended by AKIYAMA himself. It has a beautiful texture as if it were snowing.

"Tarina"

Limited quantity, reservation required
【15cm×15cm】6,200yen

Means “story” in Finnish. Underneath the pages of a beautiful book made of chocolate, two different flavors are hidden: pistachio and mascarpone combined with berry jelly, and caramel and chocolate. It is a fun cake with a different taste and texture that spreads in your mouth. A bookmark with a snowflake design and a chocolate feather pen create a sense of luxury.

New work "Buche de Noel"

Limited quantity, reservation required
【18cm×11cm】¥5,700

Under the triangular shape that accentuates the fir tree, two delicacies are locked into one: a rich Japanese chestnut bavarois & maple-scented caramel roll, and a berry & pistachio mousse that go well together. The pastry chef’s playful touch shines through in the image of a scene in which firewood is cut with a chocolate saw.

Also back this year is the popular Japanese Stollen, which was a big hit last year. This is a special cake that can only be tasted at Kimuraya, using Japanese-inspired ingredients such as persimmons, figs and koshi-an (sweet bean paste).
