Let’s do it at home! Up cycle Loccitane empty containers! For a new interior that decorates the room

2020.05.18

L’Occitane, a lifestyle cosmetics brand, has released the idea to upcycle empty containers as interior items, which was introduced at workshops such as events so far, as an idea to enjoy home time.

The empty L'Occitane container can be easily transformed into a nice interior!

“Up-cycle” means adding something new to an old thing and turning it into another thing. This is one of the earth-friendly efforts that leads to the reduction of garbage. As one of the CSR activities at L’Occitane, we started collecting empty containers at L’Occitane stores (excluding some stores and online shops) since last year. We also held workshops to upcycle empty containers. At this time when many people can not go to the store, why not enjoy the house time by up-cycle the empty Loccitane container in the house as an interior item?

"L'Occitane Green Program" to receive points with empty L'Occitane containers

In order to protect precious natural resources and pursue sustainability, we have launched the “Green Program” at L’Occitane stores (excluding some stores and online shops) under the slogan of “Let’s begin recycling and beautify the earth” .. If you bring an empty container (plastic, glass, aluminum) for the target product when you visit the store, you will be given “Green Points” to the member’s card “Club Occitania”. From January 30, 2019 to March 31, 2020, more than 22,000 customers participated and collected approximately 186,000 containers, 15,000 kg of containers.
