TORRENT BAR – Full of Stars’, celebrating the hotel’s 6th anniversary, with drinks and the best starry sky hidden in the neon lights of Shibuya.

2024.08.30

At SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL, in the Bar & Dining ‘TORRENT’ (4F), from 4 (Wed) to 30 (Mon) September 2024, as ‘TORRENT BAR – Full of Stars’, we will offer a collaboration bar with a starry sky and space-themed production. The collaborative bar will be presented in a starry sky and outer space theme.

In order to transmit culture rooted in Shibuya, a bar where people can enjoy drinks while looking up at the stars and the universe like in a planetarium was conceived as a project to deepen and enjoy the long autumn nights, with the cooperation of Cosmo Planetarium Shibuya.

Special starry sky menu & drinks

The dishes include a gazpacho that can be enjoyed by the eye with a light effect like the twinkling stars in the sky, a sea bream carpaccio with a colourful beetroot sauce representing the rings of Saturn, and even a Planet Ice sweet representing the green earth with chocolate mint ice cream, a mysterious dish that can only be found at this time of year. The food is also available in the form of Planet Ice Cream, representing the blue Earth in chocolate mint ice cream.

drink

The cocktails include the Cosmo Milky Way, a short rum-based cocktail inspired by the Milky Way in the night sky, and the Starry Sky, a glass filled with a starry sky that seems to be falling out of the glass, taking you on a starry journey with its ever-changing gradation and the sparkle of the jewel jelly at the bottom. The gradation, which changes with each sip, and the sparkle of the jewel jelly, which sinks to the bottom, take you on a starry journey. Mocktails include the ‘Silent Planets’, which expresses the blue of space at the end of the universe, as yet unseen.
