“Roadside station Kisarazu Kokuta no Sato” operated by TTC Co., Ltd. started the “Roadside Station Agricultural Products Drive-Through” initiative on May 14th, which allows you to shop while you are in a drive-through format. We will sell a good agricultural produce set “Kokuta Vegetable Box”, which is a set of vegetables, rice, eggs and other agricultural products cultivated carefully by local contract farmers, as well as seasonal fruit “Boshu Biwa”.
Drive-through sales at this station allow you to make payments without getting out of the car, and the staff loads the products directly into the trunk of the car, so you can enjoy safe and secure shopping with minimal contact with people and waiting times. receive.
Roadside Station Kisarazu Kokutanosato has been the first roadside station in Kisarazu City since it opened in October 2017, and has been particular about selling local contract farmers’ faces, selling seasonal vegetables, fruits and eggs harvested locally. We have mainly sold locally produced agricultural products. Not only tourists, but also local residents have been very well received.
However, in response to the prevention of the spread of new coronavirus infection, etc., there is no choice but to shorten the business for a long time, and the agricultural products cultivated sincerely by local contract farmers have reached the timing of shipment one after another, and now the place to go is. It is a lost crisis. In addition, it is a fact that many of our regular customers feel uneasy, “I want to avoid contact with people” and “I am worried about shopping outside”.
Therefore, I wondered if there was a way to get rid of the loss of food and make the customers happy, and I wonder if there is anything that can be done because this station has been walking together with local contract farmers and customers. We have decided to start the drive-through sales initiative to deliver fresh agricultural products in a safe and secure form.
