[Josuian] “Grape Daifuku” is now on sale from a long-established Japanese sweets shop in Fukuoka

2022.07.27

A single grape in season. The New Pione grape Daifuku (Daifuku with grapes), a summer tradition wrapped in rice cake and white bean paste, has been well received every year and is now on sale again this year from “Josuian”.

What is important for Daifuku is the balance of sweetness and sourness.

“New Pione” is characterized by its high sugar content, but from the beginning to the peak of the season, it has a perfect balance with acidity. The smooth white bean paste has a taste that only a homemade bean paste craftsman can create with all his heart. And the soft rice cake.
The goodness and balance of each ingredient is the reason why Daifuku grape cake is so delicious.
