As an original cheese sweets brand from Mie Prefecture, all products are handmade in the store’s workshop with the aim of becoming specialty sweets and souvenirs of Tsu.

RAKUTO Cheese Butter Sandwich – Plain – 360 yen (tax included)
RAKUTO’s original cheese butter sandwiches are hand-drawn by artisans, one by one, to create a beautiful appearance. The cookie is mixed with hazelnuts for a pleasantly crispy texture, and the cheese cream layer, which is creamy but has a refreshing aftertaste, melds together in the mouth.

This lovely strawberry cheese butter sandwich is decorated with dried phrases. The fruity flavor of the sandwich is created by matching the tartness of the cheese and strawberries with the sweetness of the uniquely blended cream.

This product features an exquisite collaboration of organic couverture chocolate from Ecuador and cheese. A freshly baked cheese tart, baked in limited quantities every morning in our workshop, is made by baking the tart twice to achieve a crispy texture, then pouring a smooth cream cheese and mascarpone cheese appareil over the vanilla-scented tart crust and baking it with just the right amount of heat.
The first bite of the tart will surely impress you with its tender, semi-cooked texture. Enjoy the aroma of freshly baked cheese and the crispy tart texture.

These cookies are a specialty store cookie with the perfect aroma of cheese. The cookies have an irresistible texture that crumbles in your mouth, and the luxurious use of Italian cheese powder makes it possible to enjoy the richness of the cookies. RAKUTO’s original croissants are baked daily in our kitchen. The rich aroma of butter is created by using rich French fermented butter. The airy layer created by baking the dough in many layers gives the croissant a crisp and pleasant texture.

RAKUTO’s original cheese soft serve. It is made with a rich blend of French cream cheese and raw milk to give it a rich texture and richness, but with a light aftertaste. The thick rolls give it a lovely shape.

Eighty Years After the War: A Reflection on the Preciousness of Ordinary Life YUKIKAZE – In Theaters Nationwide from August 15, 2025

“To Return Alive, To Bring Others Home Alive”

Opening nationwide on August 15, 2025—marking eighty years since the end of World War II—YUKIKAZE is a feature film based on the true story of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) destroyer Yukikaze, a vessel that rescued countless lives amid the horrors of war. A press screening was held in advance at the Sony Pictures screening room.

The destroyer Yukikaze, which served throughout the Pacific War, was renowned for rescuing numerous sailors thrown into the sea during fierce naval battles, surviving to the end of the war virtually unscathed. It earned the legendary moniker “the lucky ship.” This film brings to life the ship’s heroic journey, alongside the lives of those who persevered through one of the most turbulent eras in modern history.

Leading the cast is Yutaka Takenouchi as Captain Kazutoshi Terasawa—a fictional amalgamation inspired by the real-life captains of Yukikaze. Hiroshi Tamaki portrays Petty Officer First Class Kohei Hayase. Supporting roles are delivered by an ensemble of acclaimed actors including Daiken Okudaira, Rena Tanaka, Kanji Ishimaru, and Toru Masuoka. Kiichi Nakai delivers a commanding performance as Vice Admiral Seiichi Itō, the Second Fleet Commander of the IJN who met his fate aboard the battleship Yamato.

In today’s world, once again shaken by division and violence, YUKIKAZE poses an urgent question to those of us living in the peace that others fought to protect: Are we once again treading the path of past mistakes? As collective memory of the war fades, this film becomes ever more vital—a call to reflect on the true value of peace.
