[Hoshino Resort Bandaisan Onsen Hotel]Snowy Bar, where you can taste Aizu’s local sake while watching the snowy landscape.

Hoshino Resort Bandaisan Onsen Hotel will open a bar in a snow field, the Yukin-naka Bar, from 30 January to 28 February 2025. Yukin-naka Bar is a bar made of snow, located on the slopes in front of the hotel. Visitors can enjoy sake and snacks from the Aizu sake region while viewing snow lanterns and illuminated sake bottles.

A cup of sake menu is now available, which can be arranged and enjoyed cold or hot.

A range of unique sake cups from the Aizu Sake Brewery. They are delicious on their own, but can also be arranged in a way that is unique to winter.

Hot sake is a real treat in winter. As well as the usual hot sake, you can enjoy delicious hot sake with roasted dried fish such as dried sardines and dried squid.

Enjoy ‘snow-stored sake’ matured in snow chambers with the tastes of Aizu.

In addition to cuppa sake, the Yukinaka Shukuba also offers ‘snow sake’, which is matured in snow chambers where the room temperature is kept at around 2°C and the humidity at around 90%. Sake matured in stable snow chambers has a moderately rounded and smooth taste. It can be enjoyed with ‘misozuke’ made at Aizu’s long-established miso shop.

The Snow Bar features the iconic giant Kamakura bar. Seats surrounded by a wall of snow are lit by the soft glow of snow lanterns and sake bottles, creating a unique experience in the land of snow. This year, gondola seating has also been added, allowing visitors to choose their seats according to the number of people and atmosphere.
