Ultra-low-temperature aging “Junmai Daiginjo Sake” started online sales

2020.08.30

It features a taste that brings out the umami of rice by polishing Yamada Nishiki to 50%. By aging the trend that sake lovers are paying attention to, it has a rich flavor and deep taste. Until now, it was offered only at stores, but in response to Corona’s erosion, we started selling at the online shop in order to have a rich feeling of drinking.

“Japanese Cuisine Kanda” is one of Japan’s most famous restaurants that has been protecting the three stars for 13 consecutive years since “Michelin Guide Tokyo,” which introduced carefully selected restaurants in Tokyo, was published in 2007.

Mr. Hiroyuki Kanda, the owner chef, is a person who has studied for many years at a Japanese restaurant in Paris and a long-established restaurant in Tokyo. Known for serving the finest cuisine for a wide variety of guests, using carefully selected seasonal ingredients.

The trend of "aging", which liquor lovers are paying attention to

“Kandaseng Junmai Daiginjo Sake” is a pure rice Daiginjo Sake brewed by lavishly polishing up to 50% of Yamada Nishiki, the king of sake rice cultivated in Hyogo Prefecture. , I made full use of the deliciousness of rice. Aging has become a hot trend among Japanese sake fans in recent years because it calms down the sweetness of fresh sake and makes it sophisticated.

Although it was a liquor that I could only drink at stores, I decided to sell it online so that I could have more time to spend at home, as it was difficult to come to the store because of Corona. Not only the taste, but also the label that uses Tokushima’s handmade Japanese paper “Awa Japanese paper” and the packaging with the original indigo towel, which is the characteristic of pursuing the tradition and style of Japanese culture. The price is 15,000 yen (tax and shipping included).

Currently, a new original production project for “Japanese Cuisine Kanda” is underway. After completion, we are planning to sell it in the online shop as well, and we will deliver the finest taste to the home.

[Hoshinoya Tokyo] “New Year’s Kabuki Stay” brings the hospitality of an Edo Period theatrical teahouse to the present day.

Hoshinoya Tokyo, a Japanese-style inn located in Otemachi, Tokyo, will again this year host the “New Year Kabuki Stay” program, a two-day and one-night stay from January 5 to 26, 2024.
For people living in Edo, one of their New Year’s pleasures was to watch Kabuki, and it was a chic way to spend the New Year. Theatrical teahouses supported this way of enjoying Kabuki. In addition to arranging tickets to the theater, the teahouses delighted patrons by providing a complete range of services, including plot notes, tea, sweets, makunouchi box lunches, and snacks and drinks (*1). Hoshinoya Tokyo offers a stay to celebrate the New Year with hospitality similar to the theatrical teahouses of the time.

[Shinjuku Gyoen x Naked] NAKED Autumn Foliage in Shinjuku Gyoen 2023 to be held

From November 22 (Wed) to December 3 (Sun), 2023, an autumn foliage lighting event will be held at Shinjuku Gyoen. Following the cherry blossom event this spring, Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked will collaborate again this fall for the autumn foliage event. Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most famous gardens, is one of the few places in the city where visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves. The 200-meter-long rows of plane trees, the best maple tree spot in the city, Momijiyama, and the “Middle Pond,” with its spectacular reflection in the pond, will offer a world where the autumn leaves of Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked’s art and food are fused together.
