The 73rd National Fireworks Display dedicated to Ise Jingu Shrine will be held on Saturday, 19 July 2025 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Ise City.
The Ise Jingu Dedication National Fireworks Display is a one-of-a-kind event where selected pyrotechnicians from all over Japan dedicate fireworks to the Ise Jingu Shrine. The fireworks are a work of art filled with Japanese traditions and new challenges, and the spirit of the pyrotechnicians (artists of the night sky). Enjoy the colours, shapes and changes in each shot, one by one.

This is one of the earliest such events in Japan, and is a “competitive fireworks display” in which selected pyrotechnicians from all over the country, from Akita in the north to Kagoshima in the south, dedicate fireworks to the Jingu Shrine, releasing the results of their daily studies into the night sky over the sacred city of Ise. It is also a place where pyrotechnicians pray for the safety of the year.
