2022.02.28

The spring scenery of teamLab Borderless in Odaiba, which will close on August 31, 2022, will be open to the public from Wednesday, March 2.
Please enjoy the spring-only work space, such as the lamps that shine in cherry blossoms and the works in which 100,000 spring flowers are in full bloom.

"Forest of Resonating Lamps-One Stroke, Cherry Blossoms"

When a person stops near a lamp and stays still, the nearest lamp shines strongly and timbres, and the light propagates to the nearby lamp.

Before modern times, in Japan, the combination of front and back colors called “Kasane no Irome” (the silk at that time was thin, so the lining was transparent, so it became a complicated color).
The complex colors, such as the overlapping color gradations and the combination of warp and weft of the weave, were named after the seasonal colors.

It is expressed in five colors: Yamabuki, Urayamabuki, Aoyamabuki, Hanayamabuki, and Momo.

Proliferating Infinite Life-A Whole Year per Year

Spring flowers will appear in the huge flowers that increase to 100,000 and decay all at once.

Memory of topography

The scenery changes according to the four seasons of Japan, and during the period from March to April, in addition to spring flowers such as cherry blossoms, rape blossoms, and lavender, spring scenery such as rice terraces, wisteria trellis, rivers and crucian carps spreads out.

Flowers blooming in the stacked space

Flowers are born, grow, bud, bloom, then disperse, wither, and die.
Flowers continue to be born and die forever.
Such a world is spreading.

Flowers blooming in the infinite universe in small things

When you make a cup of tea, flowers are born and bloom in the tea, and when you pick up the bowl, the flowers scatter and spread out of the bowl.

Tea tree

When frozen tea is placed, tea trees grow from there and bloom.
White butterflies will appear during the spring.

Introducing a new tote bag

Drawing factory
You can use the pictures you drew as goods and take them home as memories.
The paintings drawn in the works of “Graffiti Nature” and “Drawing Aquarium Connected to the World” do not only move in the work space. You can use “Drawing Factory” to make goods such as tin badges, towels, tote bags, and T-shirts.
