Mataro Dolls, which inherits the techniques of “Mokumekomi dolls” and carries on the polished traditional techniques of “Mokumekomi dolls” to the present day, is now selling its new “Foil-pressed” dolls with a pure, bright and fresh image like a pure white flower at the Mataro Dolls Hall and on the Internet.

The new “Ho-Oshi” series of Mataro dolls features the technique of “Ho-Oshi”, in which designs are drawn on the surface of costumes made with Mokume-Komi, using gofun (glue) dissolved in glue, and then gold leaf is glued on the surface.

The impulse stand is decorated with sandblasted flower patterns. The doll is holding a goyo azalea, whose floral language is “elegance. Costumes, personal belongings, and even the impulse stand are created with a unified view of the world.
