Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, a national Special Place of Scenic Beauty and a Special Historic Site, and Kiyosumi Garden, a Tokyo Metropolitan Government Site of Scenic Beauty, are well known for their irises. Both gardens are usually at their best from late May to early June, and since the irises are at their best at this time of year, various events such as traditional performing arts and concerts will be held at Koishikawa Korakuen Garden and Kiyosumi Garden under the title of “Hanashobu ga Musubu Sono Knot”.
