Hoshinoya Okinawa: ‘Yunagi Aperitif’ to enjoy the spectacular view of the sun setting into the sea and the golden sunset.

2024.09.27

From 1 December 2024 to 28 February 2025, Hoshinoya Okinawa, the pinnacle of Okinawan luxury embraced by the sea, will host the Yunagi Aperitif, where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the setting sun and golden sunset over the sea.
This event allows guests to enjoy an elegant aperitif in Hoshinoya Okinawa’s infinity pool with tropical plants while watching the sunset unfold.

Aperitif set packed in original bamboo baskets with the warmth of handicraft.

The aperitif set includes cocktails based on rum, a distilled spirit made from sugar cane, as well as gin and whisky. The rum used is produced in Okinawa by Awamori brewers and is characterised by its smooth aroma and full-bodied flavour.

Finger foods to enjoy with the cocktails include carrot mousse and prawn cake accented with island peppers, and grissini with island tofu, using ingredients unique to Okinawa.

Blissful moments in the infinity pool, which blends into the sea and offers spectacular winter views.

Facing the west coast, Hoshinoya Okinawa’s infinity pool is the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the horizon. Winter is said to be the season for beautiful sunsets when the air is clear, and the golden glow of the sunset can be seen only at this time of year. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the sky and sea as they change with the passage of time, from the sea shining in the evening sun to the calm sea at dusk.
