2024.10.09

The 2nd Special Autumn Open Air Concert “A Special Time of Taisho Romance and Music” with violins and flutes will be held on the bridge at Ginzan Onsen on Thursday (10th) and Friday (11th) October 2024.
Autumn has come to Ginzan Onsen. From now on, the season of autumn leaves is in full swing. The scenery of the mountains changing colour day by day, adding colour to the retro townscape, is truly a natural art to be enjoyed with all five senses.

Here is a guide to music events perfect for such an autumn of art.

Violin and flute music echoing through the streets of Taisho romanticism.

Now in its second year by popular demand, ‘Special Time for Taisho Romance and Music’ is an autumn open-air concert held on the stage of the bridge over the Ginzan River that runs through the centre of Ginzan Onsen.

There are two performances each day, one in the evening and one at night, and the music ranges from gentle classics to suit the autumnal scenery to popular film music and the exciting Ghibli soundtrack. Everyone, from adults to children, will have heard the music at least once. There will be solo, duo and trio performances! The content of the concert will be fun.

The entire town of Ginzan Onsen, which changes its appearance throughout the day, is itself a stage full of emotion. The quiet, sleepy dusk. Or the romantic world of the night, lit by gas lamps. Enjoy the Autumn of Arts with its different Taisho romantic atmosphere and the deepening of the season with its soothing music.
