World Class 2019 Global Final

For cocktail “Sakura Fizz”, bartender Hiroki Yoshida of Hotel New Otani “Bar Capri” won the Johnny Walker category of the world’s largest bartender competition “World Class Global Final 2019” held in Scotland in September 2019 At the time, a cocktail actually made. Under the concept of “cocktails that can be toasted with everyone in the cherry blossoms”, not only use orange peel, which would otherwise be discarded, as part of the recipe, and use food waste as an effective resource, We hope that the bamboo tumbler, which can be used repeatedly even in the cherry blossom scene and is good for the environment, will take root.

The base is Scotch Whiskey Johnny Walker Black. Pull out the fruity taste firmly and use homemade cherry syrup and shiso to enhance the taste of cherry blossoms. Oil “Oleossaccharum” obtained by soaking orange peel in sugar, several types of flower water, lemon juice, etc. are added to create a fresh fizz with a complex aroma.
