“The 101st Sakura in Hirosaki Park (2020)” includes the cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park, which was produced in the spring of 2020 and is also called the best cherry blossom in Japan, and the tree doctor “Team Sakuramori” who protects the cherry blossoms. It is a documentary video work that chases the figure of the worker who did.

The “Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival” was scheduled to be held as the 100th anniversary.
From the perspective of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus infection, it has been canceled since 1944 to 1946, which was affected by World War II. Hirosaki Park was also closed for the first time since it opened in 1895.

In the park, you can only hear the sound of the wind blowing through and the chirping of birds. In 2020, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the atmosphere was mysterious with the snowstorms.

In this video, while depicting the ephemeral and powerful cherry blossoms and the workers who support them, “Like the cherry blossoms that start preparing to bloom again from the moment they fall, we will overcome this difficult situation together and everyone will see the 101st cherry blossoms next spring. I want to welcome you. ”

Please take a look at the ephemeral and dynamic cherry blossom snowstorm in an empty park!

We are also currently working on a PR video that follows Hirosaki Park in the four seasons. It is scheduled to be released on “Promotion Site Hirosaki City” etc. around February 2021. Please take a look here as well.
