Iwatake Resort Co., Ltd., which aims to become a world-class all-season mountain resort, will begin selling early-bird season passes for the 2026–2027 winter season at discounted rates from Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at its ‘Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort’. In addition to offering a wealth of exclusive benefits, the early-bird season passes provide a variety of activities designed not only for those who enjoy skiing and snowboarding but also for those wishing to make the most of their time away from the slopes, delivering the unique charms of winter at Hakuba Iwatake to a wide range of guests.

Season passes include free entry to the ‘Iwatake no Yu’ hot spring at Hakuba Himekawa Onsen at any time during the season (normally 750 yen per adult per visit), a coupon offering 50 per cent off lift passes and equipment hire (two of each), as well as 20 per cent off the lunch menu at the summit restaurant ‘Sky Ark’, member discounts on fuel at partner petrol stations, a 20 per cent discount on hire fees at any time at SPICY RENTALS Iwatake branch, and an original sticker, amongst other benefits.

We also offer a range of benefits available at ski resorts and associated facilities both in Japan and overseas, including complimentary gondola lift rides during the 2027 green season, 50 per cent off lift passes at overseas ski resorts owned and operated by Vail Resorts (upon presentation of a season pass), discounted one-day passes for group ski resorts, and special offers on ski and snowboard school lessons.
Furthermore, we plan to run the ski resort’s first-class programme, ‘HAKUBA S-CLASS ~VIP LOUNGE & PRIORITY PASS~’, again this season, offering benefits such as priority boarding on the gondola lift and access to an exclusive lounge at the summit. Customers who purchase a season pass will also be able to use this service at a special rate on weekdays only. Non-skiers can enjoy a day in the snowy mountains too! Snow Outdoor Area
‘Hakuba Iwate Snow Field’ offers a diverse range of attractions—including viewing areas, cafés and the Snow Outdoor Area—ensuring that even those visiting purely for sightseeing can enjoy themselves. Last season, approximately 52,000 people—accounting for around 23 per cent of total visitors—came as winter tourists, allowing non-skiers to fully enjoy the snowy mountains as well.
The ‘HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR’ café and terrace, offering spectacular views of the Northern Alps, remains open throughout the winter.
