On the steps leading from the Hakundo Tea House to the fountain within the grounds, over 100 pots of various hydrangeas—including the charming double-flowered pink variety ‘Koishin’ and ‘Temari Temari’, whose small flowers bloom in spherical clusters—are displayed, allowing you to take photographs surrounded by a riot of colourful blooms.
Furthermore, in late June, the white hydrangea ‘Annabelle’, native to America, will be at its best, allowing you to enjoy a stroll along ‘Annabelle Road’.
In front of the Hakundo Tea House, you can enjoy a ‘flower hand-washing basin’ featuring refreshing hydrangeas floating in the water, so please do stop by.
