A new flavor has been added to the “Daifuku Dora” series created by a long-established store! “Matcha Daifuku Dora”

2020.08.04

Aokiya Co., Ltd. launched a matcha daifuku and dorayaki, Matcha Daifuku dora (1 piece 280 yen [tax included]) on July 17, 2020, making use of the traditional techniques cultivated since 1868.

Delicious three times with one bite

“Choco Daifuku Dora” was released in the fall of last year and was well received. The long-awaited matcha flavor has been added to the Daifuku Dora series so that you can enjoy it even in summer. “Melting black honey looks like dorayaki! “Matcha Daifuku Dora” was created from that thought.

If you just sandwich the black honey, it will stick out from the dough skin. But just plain matcha bean paste is not fun! So why not wrap the matcha bean paste filled with black honey in Daifuku? Was born from the idea. Is this candy Daifuku? Dorayaki? Is it a completely different sweet? I made it with the hope that you can eat it while thinking about such things.
Since it is individually packaged and can be stored at room temperature, it can be used in any occasion.

Melting black honey, dorayaki, and Daifuku are combined with special technology

The foundation of Aokiya in 1868 was the business of all heads. Using the technique of “encrusted bean jam” that wraps the bean jam in the dough, which is indispensable for making many heads, the black honey that begins to melt is wrapped in matcha bean jam and fertilizer. The skill of making 100 thousand heads that lasts for more than 100 years and the experience of making dorayaki gently, making it every day. Beyond traditional Japanese sweets, we have transformed them into creative Japanese sweets.
