“Kyoto Saryo Midorizumi” where you can enjoy genuine Japanese sweets

2021.09.18

Saryosuisen is a Japanese cafe that offers authentic matcha sweets that use only the finest dark tea among the highest-ranked Uji matcha in Japan. 9/16 (Thursday) Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro Main Store will be newly opened. Please enjoy a relaxing time in the calm interior of Kyoto.

In addition to the carefully selected Uji matcha, the Japanese sweets of Saryo Midorizumi are made from pure ingredients such as genuine bracken starch, Wasanbon from Tokushima, and brown sugar from Okinawa.

A variety of enjoyable Japanese afternoon tea plates devised by a skilled pastry chef, “Suisen Halle no Hitosara”, and the Kyoto-style udon noodles supervised by Gion Matayoshi and Matayoshi Kazutomo, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. We also have a new menu just for you.

A modern Japanese space where you can feel the "hospitality of Kyoto"

One of the features of the Kyoto Saryo Suisen Ikebukuro Tobu store is a luxurious space that resembles a hotel tea room. We are particular about the texture of the lighting and sofa so that you can feel the “soft” atmosphere unique to Kyoto.
