Opened in September 2022, Kamakura’s Karasumi Soba “Tsuki to Matsu” will offer a special New Year’s menu to celebrate the New Year from January 5, 2023 (Thu).

A tsukidashi, two seasonal dishes (“Zoni” (soup with vegetables), “Tokobushi” (white miso paste), “Matsuba kani” (crab), “Tataki gobo” (burdock root), and “Karasumi soba” (buckwheat noodles). Tokobushi, a member of the abalone family, is also called “fukudame,” which is written in Chinese characters as “fukutame. It is an appropriate food for the festive New Year’s season.

Tsuki to Matsu
Built about 100 years ago, the restaurant is a 2-minute walk from the ancient capital of Kamakura, Zaimokuza Beach. The tableware is also made of antiques and traditional crafts, allowing you to feel the good old days of Japan.
