The Shibazakura Garden, which is open to the public by Mr. Mishima’s personal garden, will be in full bloom from late May to early June. In addition, a state of emergency has now been issued in Hokkaido. We have set up a web page so that you can check flowering information and congestion information online, so please use that as well.
Flowering situation
For those who want to enjoy the flowering situation online and those who want to check the current flowering situation, from May 18, 2021 (Tuesday), we will tell you the flowering situation of cherry blossoms almost every day with pictures.
The best time to see this year is from May 26th. The best time to see (in full bloom) is expected to be from late May to early June. (The best time to see it lasts from 1 week to 10 days.)
Congestion
We provide congestion status for those who want to avoid congestion and observe Shibazakura, such as neighbors. You can check the real-time congestion status of Mishima’s Shibazakura Garden on “VACAN Maps”. In addition, this VACAN system is used by about 50 restaurants in the Niseko area, and you can check the congestion status of restaurants in the Niseko area on the same map.

[May Hokkaido Niseko area where spring, summer, autumn and winter are included in one photo]
The Hokkaido Niseko area in May is the season when cherry blossoms bloom. Every year, cherry blossoms such as Yoshino cherry blossoms begin to bloom around Golden Week. Pink cherry blossoms bloom (spring), lush fresh green in the field (summer), and snow remains on mountains such as Mt. Yotei (winter). In addition, trees such as Acer mono turn red once in spring (autumn). It is the season when the colors of each of these seasons gather at once.
