Camping experience at Unkai Terrace “Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Tomamu”

2021.08.24

At Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Tomamu, the Unkai Terrace is open from spring to autumn, and you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Unkai in front of you up close. From August 26, 2021, “Unkai Terrace Camp” will be available, where you can rent out a spectacular view of the sky with your family.

Charter the Unkai Terrace with your family

In this plan, the Unkai Terrace will be rented out for camping during the hours from night to dawn, which is normally not accessible. The family can enjoy the sky full of stars at night and the spectacular view of the sea of clouds and sunrise in front of you in the early morning.

During the early morning when the sea of clouds comes out, a private “Sea of Clouds Guide” is held in which the staff explains the mechanism of the sea of clouds and the outlook for the day.

In addition, the staff will prepare all the tents, chairs, tables, etc. so that you can easily enjoy your first camp. Of course, there is no need to clean up.

Camping experience in front of nature

As a light meal to enjoy during the camp, we prepare cheese of “Tomam milk” squeezed from cows grazing in the farm area, deer jerky, and marshmallows. Smoked cheese and deer jerky in a smoker or roasted marshmallows for a camping experience. In addition, the staff is always on hand, so if you have any questions at the camp, you can spend your time without worry.

Enjoy dinner slowly at the restaurant

There are various restaurants in the area, and you can choose dinner according to the scene and mood. Forest Restaurant “Nininupuri” is a buffet restaurant where you can enjoy Hokkaido-like dishes such as Genghis Khan and fried newborn (*1) in an open space. At the buffet dining “hal”, you can enjoy seasonal ingredients centered on Hokkaido’s representative seafood “crab x salmon”.

*1 Half-fried chicken

Free way to enjoy because it is a camp at a resort

This plan can only be enjoyed by those staying at RISONARE Tomamu. Therefore, it is possible to spend the night in the guest room and enjoy the sea of clouds in the early morning in private. You can camp on the Unkai Terrace, of course, but you can use both the guest rooms and the Unkai Terrace freely.

You can spend your time as you wish, such as drinking coffee while looking out at the sea of clouds on the reserved sea of clouds terrace and taking a nap in your room.
