“Dodan-tsutsuji” open to the public at Eishoji Temple, Kinjozan

2022.11.27

The dodan azalea is at its best at Eishoji Temple on Kinjo-yama in Kakogawa City, and from November 17 to 25, the slopes of the temple grounds from the main hall are dyed bright red, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty along with the garden scenery.

The garden has been open to the public at this time since 2001. Depending on the angle of view, the main hall on the south side of the garden and the glass doors in the shoin (drawing room) on the north side of the garden are reflected in each other, creating a three-sided mirror-like beauty that can be enjoyed.

Duration: November 17 (Thursday) to November 25 (Friday), 2022
Time: 9:00-15:00
Address: 828 Saijo, Jinno-cho, Kakogawa-shi, Hyogo (parking available)
