Kai Nikko, Kai Kinugawa, Kai Kawaji (Tochigi) : Autumn Foliage Open Bus Tour 2023 in operation

2023.08.23

“Kai Nikko,” “Kai Kinugawa,” and “Kai Kawaji,” hot spring inns located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, will operate the “Autumn Foliage Open Bus Tour 2023” to enjoy maple leaf viewing in comfort.

Enjoy the autumn leaves up close in an open-air bus with a great sense of openness

The most attractive point of this tour is the overwhelming sense of openness. Since the open-air bus has no roof, you can enjoy the colorful autumn leaves up close. The bus travels slowly so that you can fully enjoy the scenery, the fresh autumn breeze, and the scent of the forest.

Two routes to visit autumn foliage spots in Tochigi Prefecture

This tour operates two routes: the “Iroha-zaka Route” starting and ending at Kai Nikko, and the “Gojyuri/Kawaji Dam Route” starting and ending at Kai Kinugawa and Kai Kawaji.

On this tour, a set of wagashi-jyu and Japanese tea will be served when the tour stops at the most scenic spots on each course.
