For 11 days from October 15 (Sat), an exhibition by artists associated with Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, entitled “Art Exhibition at the Ruins of the Castle” is being held. This free exhibition will be held at the ruins of Tamba Kameyama Castle, built by Mitsuhide Akechi, where visitors can enjoy a variety of artworks including music, ceramics, sculptures, paintings, and contemporary art.
Twenty-seven artists will exhibit their works in a venue surrounded by nature, where the ruins of a castle with a rich history seem to be the work of art itself. The nearest station, JR Kameoka Station, is only a 20-minute rapid train ride from JR Kyoto Station. This is a free exhibition for first-time visitors to art.

Various events that can be enjoyed by people of all ages are held at the same time. Visitors can experience the charm of Kameoka together with the Castle Ruins Art Exhibition.
