The “Otaru Canal Afternoon Tea Cruise” will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from April 13th to June 30th, 2024.
OMO5 Otaru operates a boat exclusively for Otaru guests.
Normally, the boats that operate on the Otaru Canal have bench seating, but for this program, the boats will be equipped with tables. Tablecloths and cushions will be provided on board so that you can enjoy afternoon tea at your leisure. During the 40-minute ride, you can enjoy an elegant cruise in the pleasant spring weather while admiring the streets of Otaru with its historical buildings.
Lutao's original afternoon tea set now includes "Strawberry Financier" [NEW
On board, an afternoon tea set featuring nine different types of Lutao sweets will be served. In addition to sweets such as Lutao’s standard cheesecake “Deubourg Fromage,” this year, a new “Strawberry Financier” exclusive to this program will be available. This financier is baked with Hokkaido strawberry powder kneaded into the dough to balance the gorgeousness of strawberries with a buttery flavor.
