A new afternoon tea schedule, Japanese Afternoon Tea with Rokujizogama, will be held at Suisutei, a historic architectural restaurant at the hands-on Sport & Do Resort Risolu no Mori, where you can enjoy sweets and savouries with the freshness of early summer. The period is from 17 May (Fri) to 11 July (Thu) 2024.

Suishutei, a restaurant with historic architecture, offers a limited number of original afternoon teas using seasonal ingredients, which have been well received. The theme is “Wa” and an original menu has been created based on the image of the fresh beauty of early summer in Japan.

Choux à la crème with refreshing summer mandarin orange jelly, matcha green tea and other early-summer-only sweets.

Rissol Forest’s famous Choux à la Crème sweet is now available in a Matcha (green tea) flavour, only available in early summer. The matcha cream is filled with a refreshing summer orange jelly and served with matcha rice cakes and black beans for a luxurious treat.

Second 'Chanoyu Experience' event with afternoon tea to learn about the Japanese spirit in a tea room, due to popular demand.

On Wednesday 12 June 2024, a ‘Chanoyu Experience’ with afternoon tea will be held in a Japanese-style room at the historic Suishutei restaurant. In the Suishutei’s Japanese-style room, visitors will observe the basic tea ceremony (usucha-dempai), after which they will be able to make their own matcha at their own table.
