The Hiroshima Women’s Camera Club, a non-profit organization based in Hiroshima City (location: Saiki-ku, Hiroshima City, representative: Mariko Akimoto), is an online community site “Earth Photo Project” newly opened in May 2020. We have started to open to the public.

This site was created by Mr. Akimoto himself during this year’s Golden Week, with the idea that “If there is a photo community that can be shared by everyone, even if self-restraint continues.”
I had been interacting with blogs and photo posts for about a month only by acquaintances, but I started thinking that “I would like to make photography activities that can be done online with the help and ideas of more people.” We have reached out to fans.

Mr. Saio, a popular photographer living in Okinawa, also participated in the project as a volunteer and provided advice on “natural”-themed photo works and “how to shoot”.
Hopefully more fun for photography on the 7th of July. Sayo will release a report of “How to shoot waves for beginners” that Mr. Saio actually shot on the coast of Okinawa and finished it.

[Background and future of service launch]
The number of people who hold online drinking parties etc. to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection has increased.
I think that it would be more useful if we could exchange information on the local area while talking about “pictures” with people all over the country.

We would like to create a community where members can create ideas while exchanging opinions that “I can do this.”
