From 25 Oct (Fri) to 8 Dec (Sun), 2024, a pop-up shop for miffy café tokyo will be held in Umeda, Osaka.
“Gion Noodles Muraji” was able to celebrate its 5th anniversary on November 20, 2020.
Seven years ago, “I want to create a ramen shop where even one woman can easily enter.” “I want to offer hospitality that only a female shopkeeper can do.” “When I take a rest from my heart and body, I want to come back here. “I want to make it a store like this.” The store manager, Kyoko Ren (Muraji), opened the store after a two-year preparation period, and this year marks the fifth anniversary of its opening, and one day “women” It is called “the back alley ramen shop run by the owner”, and many customers come to the shop every day.
In 2020, due to the influence of the coronavirus, there were various things such as closing the store for two months until the end of June, but now the number of tourists to Kyoto is gradually increasing, and on holidays it will be in the city of Gion. Many people have come to be seen.
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary, we will return to the original intention of the store and aim to be a store where all the customers who come to the store can smile.
After spending two years through trial and error, Muraji’s “Chicken Baitan Soup” was completed. Only one staff member, Kyoko, who is the owner of the restaurant, knows the recipe. After being prepared by craftsmen for 12 hours, the shopkeeper makes a final confirmation and only those that pass are provided to the customer.
Aiming to be a ramen that women can eat completely, the finished soup uses abundantly selected domestic ingredients such as chicken gala, and the rich yet refreshing aftertaste has become very popular with women, and now they come to the store. 70% of the customers who receive it are women.
I want to create a store that will last 50 or 100 years in a city that existed 50 or 100 years ago.
With that in mind, “Gion Noodles Muraji” was born in the back alley of Gion, Kyoto. Seasonal fresh flowers are lined up in the store filled with the feelings of the owner, creating a space that you can hardly think of as a ramen shop.
