Flower Hound Media, Daiichi Gardening’s Hanagoto dedicates Hanage water to Naegoshi no Hare

2020.07.12

Daihoku Horticultural Co., Ltd.’s owned media “Hanagoto”, which develops businesses related to flowers and greenery, is aligned with the traditional event “*Natsugoshi no Hare” held at shrines throughout Japan. “Hanachozu” with a hydrangea is devoted to the Tesui building of Fukutoku Shrine (Mebuki Inari) in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

7th dedication

The flower-owning media “Hanagoto” operated by Daiichi Horticulture, which has the theme of “knowing and enjoying flowers,” has been offering Hanatemizu since November 2019, in line with Japanese seasonal events. We are offering a dedication.

This time, in line with the “Natsukoshi no Hori”, which is a Shinto ritual that enshrines the imperfection of half a year, we will dedicate Hanadate water using hydrangea, which has been said to have the spiritual power to pay evil spirits since ancient times.
On Wednesday, July 1st, the last day, the hydrangea will be given to the worshipers as “Hanamori*” on a first-come-first-served basis from 9:00.

*Hanamori is a custom to wrap a hydrangea in a paper with a wish and hang it upside down under an eaves to pray for a disease-free disaster.
