Japan’s first! ? A new dining style where you can enjoy the specialties of your neighbors at the hotel

2020.08.28

The city tourism hotel brand “OMO” that raises the tension of travel is one of the ways of eating at hotels with a long-term Corona era at two facilities, Asahikawa (Hokkaido) and Otsuka (Tokyo). , “Neighborhood delivery cafe” has started a new initiative. We want you to enjoy the whole neighborhood, so we offer a service where you can enjoy the delicious gems of your neighborhood at the hotel, like the OMO brand that has been transmitting the charm of the area.

Background of new service development

While the way of traveling greatly changes, it is a fact that you may be concerned about meals especially while you are away from home, because it is a land that you are unfamiliar with, unlike the area around your home.

In addition, although OMO has been developing a “Go-KINJO” service, it has become a situation that we have to temporarily stop the tour that guides us to the store.

With the cooperation of our neighbors, we are now launching a service where you can enjoy local specialties in the hotel. We will pursue the ideal way of eating at a new normal hotel.

* The OMO Ranger is a city hero who loves the peace of the city and whose mission is to increase the tension of travelers. We will take travelers to the neighborhood and take a walk to show you the attractions of the city.

Three points of "neighborhood delivery cafe"

1 First in Japan! ? At the hotel, you can serve local specialties!

Luxury hors d'oeuvre with Hokkaido brand meat and seasonal fresh fish
Angus beef steak
Sea blessing gratin

You might usually think, “What!? Can you deliver at the hotel?” Don’t worry! With the launch of the “Neighborhood Delivery Cafe,” where you can enjoy food served by your neighbors, OMO has made it easier for you to enjoy order food at the hotel. It is a convenient service where you can choose the dish you want to eat from a lovely menu that you can easily change and ask for food delivery with a single phone call.

From those who “want to spend as much time as possible as a countermeasure against infection” to those who “want to walk out today and want to stay in the hotel as much as possible but want to avoid convenience store meals” Recommended for people. After ordering, you can enjoy the board game in the OMO base until the food arrives, and the waiting time will be in no time!

2 You can bring your own lobby lounge! ?

Of course, you can bring your own meals to your guest room for food delivery or take-out, but it is even better if you eat and drink at the OMO base (the lobby lounge in the hotel)! There is no smell in the room, the chair table is wide and it is easy to eat, and the cleanup after meals is “simple”.

We also prepare simple drinks such as herbal water, and plates and cutlery that are nice to share with your companion, so it is definitely convenient. We have created an environment where you can easily bring your own food. You can enjoy your meal alone, friends and family at your favorite seats such as cafes and restaurants in OMO Base.

In addition, we will make every effort to create a safe and comfortable environment by carefully avoiding 3 dense areas and devising a social distance.
*Breakfast hours are excluded.

3 Introducing shops that can deliver and take out on the neighborhood map

The large “neighborhood map” that spreads all over the wall is an original map that the hotel staff actually walked around and gathered a lot of information about the city. Introducing shops that are working on delivery and takeout in the area. After taking a walk, why not take a stroll around the hotel and pick up gem dishes from your neighborhood to create your own original full-course meal?

Introducing some of the wonderful restaurants and food that can be delivered

Shisui ceux (Otsuka)
Bar A mark (Otsuka)
