Since its inception in 1989, the “Heian Shrine Red Shidare Concert” has evolved throughout the Heisei era. In 2025, the concert will be held for five days from Wednesday, April 2 to Sunday, April 6.
For this performance, there will be no seats in the hall, but the audience will have the opportunity to stroll through the Shinen Garden, which is illuminated with red cherry blossoms, and listen to music for a while by the Seiho Pond in the East Shrine Garden. Please enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility, forgetting the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by the fantastic cherry blossoms and the magnificent scenery of Heian-kyo.
