Winter shochu “Yuki no Mannen” rich flavor unique to no filtration

2020.02.12

At the Tsukada Farm in Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, a snow brewed shochu from Watanabe Sake Brewery was born out of the desire to make winter sake suitable for hot water. This special winter shochu has been launched.

Watanabe Sake Brewery’s self-cultivated sweet potato “Kogane Senuki” is made from white koji, finished at 28 degrees, slightly higher than normal, and filtered without bottling.
Dividing 5: 5 with slightly hot water, you can enjoy the rich taste of shochu that can only be obtained without filtration, and the plump potato aroma of fresh sweet potatoes. The taste of white koji makes the drink easy and refreshing, and it has a taste that makes you want to drink it on a cold snowy winter day.

Mr. Koichiro Watanabe of Mori

According to Mr. Koichiro Watanabe, “Yuki no Mannen” is mainly delicious with hot water, but this year’s one is also delicious when eaten on a rock.
Please try various ways of drinking.
