2020.03.15

“Oisix”, which provides safe and secure agricultural products, processed foods, meal kits, and other food delivery services, has been temporarily closed by elementary, junior high, and high schools nationwide to take measures against the new coronavirus. The”Milk Support Corner” will be launched on March 5 to provide emergency assistance to dairy farmers who are in trouble, and will promote sales at 3 discounts and introduce milk consumption recipes.

7 tons of milk a day surviving sudden school closure ... 3 discounts at fixed price to promote sales

The effect of the temporary closure of schools due to the spread of the new coronavirus has spread to businesses that provide school lunches. Yokkaichi Dairy Farm in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, supplies about 7 tons of milk per day to local schools for lunch. Two days after school closure, Oisix has begun urgent sales on the 5th, when it was told that the milk it was about to ship was suddenly overdue and was in trouble.

Introducing a "milk-rich recipe" that children who are going out can make themselves

Children who are closed are continuing to stay out of school, and the need for food delivery is increasing so that they can avoid shopping as much as possible.
Therefore, Oisix has opened a “Milk Support Corner” and also proposed a recipe to use plenty of milk at home. We will introduce recipes such as “Fresh! Strawberry Milk” that does not use fire, starting with “homemade cheese making” at home, and support the aggressive consumption of milk at home.

Period: March 5 (Thu) 10:00-April 2 (Thu) 9:59 * End date and time are planned
① Milk at the foot of Suzuka Mountain (1ℓ) Standard price 282 yen (excluding tax) → 197 yen (excluding tax) * Sold at a 30% discount on the regular price

About Suzuka foot milk

Five dairy farmers (dairy farmers only) at the foot of Mt. Suzuka use only raw milk milked from dairy cows raised on feeds without genetic modification. It is a “production area pack” that packs freshly milked fresh milk at a factory near the ranch. For pasteurization, it has a fresh taste like freshly squeezed raw milk.
