Atami Pudding, a popular pudding specialty store in Atami, will start a limited time menu using strawberries on March 15 (Fri.).
Strawberry Dish Pudding” is full of retro charm. The strawberry milk pudding is made in the cafeteria, and the addition of mascarpone cheese adds richness. The strawberry pudding is served with a sweet and sour strawberry sauce, making it a very cute dish.
Dream Jumbo Pudding is also decorated with strawberries for the limited season when strawberries are delicious! Approximately 30 servings of Atami Pudding Shokudo’s famous “Dream Jumbo Pudding” is truly a must for pudding lovers.
A certificate will also be given to those who finish the meal. Please make reservations by noon the day before.
The cafeteria’s signature fluffy pancakes are now available as pudding a la mode for spring.
The fluffy pancakes are topped with the diner’s plate pudding, fruit, and strawberries.
Finished with strawberry sauce, these sweet and sour spring pancakes are sure to please.
The Pudding Parfait with a whole classic pudding is a combination of the fluffy pancakes and pudding made by the diner’s own hands. The tiramisu cream inside gently envelopes the pudding and the refreshing sourness of strawberries.
The “Make Your Own Strawberry Milkshake,” which was very popular in 2022, is back! The strawberry milkshake is made by mashing strawberries to the desired size and adding milk from a bottle of Atami Pudding. It is both delicious and fun.

Simose Art Museum, located in Otake City, Hiroshima Prefecture, has been awarded the prestigious Versailles Prize as the “Most Beautiful Museum in the World.”

The Hiroshima Museum of Art is hosting the exhibition “ZIPANGU: Contemporary Artists Who Defined the Heisei Era” (November 2, 2024 – December 22, 2024). This showcase brings together works by some of the most prominent figures in Japan’s contemporary art scene, including Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Makoto Aida, Yoshitomo Nara, Chiharu Shiota, Izumi Kato, Akira Yamaguchi, and Miwa Komatsu. The exhibition has already garnered significant attention, exceeding 10,000 visitors.
HYAKKEI covered the dialogue between contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and Sueo Mizuma, the curator of this exhibition, held at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima. We also conducted an exclusive interview with Mr. Mizuma.
The discussions centered on the aspirations behind the ZIPANGU exhibition and offered forward-looking insights, not only into Japan’s art world but also into the rediscovery of value within Japanese culture by its people.
