Wacoal Co., Ltd. will open “Kyo no Onsen Marutamachi”, an accommodation facility that renovates the Kyomachiya, on April 25, 2020 in the Kyoto / Goshominami area.
“Kyo no Onsen Marutamachi”, the seventh of the “Kyo no Onsen” lodging facilities developed by Wacoal, is a rental inn that can accommodate up to 4 people. It is an artificial carbonated spring that is kind to the skin and hair. With a bath, soft water shower, and spacious make-up corner (washbasin), this is an inn recommended for group trips for women.

A Kyo-machiya built in the Meiji era (estimated) in an area where the traditional landscape is very dark, which is convenient for sightseeing in the city. Renovation to “living”.

In the lounge space that connects the Japanese-style room with the bedroom on the second floor, a unique round sofa designed by “Trough Architects” is installed. When you open the sliding doors, it looks like a continuous room and is designed so that you can share the time and space of your trip with your friends.

Lounge space The sofa is placed like a “rock garden”

The round-shaped cypress bath is an artificial carbonated spring (* 1) that stays warm and warm even after bathing, and amenities such as shampoo are available in the THREE brand, which is popular with women. The make-up corner is large enough for four people to use side by side, and we are particular about the mirrors and lighting that make the skin color look transparent.
