[Hoshino Resorts] “Highest standard corona countermeasure declaration” is powered up

2020.06.17

Hoshino Resorts, which operates 42 facilities in Japan and abroad, will install hand-rubbing alcohol in all guest rooms from June 1st in pursuit of hospitality that utilizes Japanese tradition and culture. One of the practical examples of “new lifestyle” announced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is “Washing hands and disinfecting hands”. We have prepared alcohol for hand disinfection not only in public spaces but also in all guest rooms so that you can practice this while traveling, so that you can stay with more peace of mind. You can use it at any time you like, such as when you want to thoroughly disinfect, or when you suddenly feel anxious. Eliminating the hassle of preparing portable disinfecting goods for travel, it is also possible to go out easily and casually.

Also, from the same day, partitions such as panels and vinyl sheets will be installed at the front to prevent splash infection. This will reduce your psychological stress and allow your staff to interact with you without worrying about splash infection.

Iide Town, Yamagata Prefecture] “Submerged Forest of Lake Shirakawa,” a Mysterious Spring-Only Scene

The mysterious scenery of Lake Shirakawa in the town of Iide in southern Yamagata Prefecture can be seen only during two months in spring. In spring, a large amount of melt water flows into Lake Shirakawa from the Iide mountain range, one of Japan’s 100 most famous mountains, where there is heavy snowfall. When the lake is full of water, it creates a fantastic sight of white willow trees as if they are growing out of the water.
