Dinner menu details

Amuse

1.jewelry appetizer (premier)
Garden vegetable jewel terrine
16-year-old Lalique became a disciple of a jewelry craftsman after his father’s death and started his life as an artist. A transparent vegetable terrine with rich colors, such as jewels and cloisonne studded with numerous jewelery designs he designed. By using scallop soup stock and slowly letting it sit for a day, the colors of the vegetables are expressed more clearly. To finish off, taste it with the beautiful and rich vegetable gelatin on the plate.

2.green salad (deuxieme)
Cold green soup of salad vegetables Sprinkle with herb oil
The main motif of Laric’s work was the “natural world” such as plants and insects. Growing up in a lush green area, nature has been an eternal source of inspiration, stimulating creativity and continuing to give a new image.
A rich, creamy green soup of chervil and basil that uses plenty of such natural blessings.

3.japonisme fish dish (poisson)
Suzuki Sansho Miso Grilled with Green Laver Flavored Japonisme
Japonisme broke out in Europe in the latter half of the 19th century, and ukiyo-e and Japanese unique artistic sensations shocked Westerners.
Lalique in his youth was also influenced by that, and his scale can be seen in numerous works. Arrange Japanese seafood in a French style and use the traditional Japanese miso and Japanese pepper. Expressing the historical encounter between France and Japan on a plate.

4.viande meat dish (viande)
Sae Yamamoto’s specialty dish, Buff Bourguignon
Sae Yamamoto, a woman who is indispensable for talking about Laric’s life, is her beloved daughter. It was she who he trusted the most and asked for his opinion. Sae Yamamoto continued to support Lalique by preparing a time-consuming meal. The main dish is a dish of calf, which is her specialty, stewed in burgundy red wine. A plate of the royal road that is also a local dish of France.

5.perfume dessert
4 kinds of perfume bottle dessert
Lalique expresses the charm of the invisible scent with a dramatic perfume bottle design. The perfume bottle, which has a beautiful and delicate design with a story, has been loved as a gift to represent various feelings. Walt’s perfume bottle with love and prayer is reproduced with sweets. Enjoy the scent of real perfume while imagining it.

* The contents of the course meal may change depending on the season.

"Hakone Retreat fore & villa 1 / f" (Fauré & Villa One Bayev)

Hakone Retreat fore & villa 1 / f, which stands in a vast forest of 55,000 square meters in Hakone Sengokuhara, which is convenient as a base for exploring Hakone, was rebranded in April 2019 and has become a design hotel with only 10 facilities in Japan. I am a member.

“Hakone Retreat villa 1 / f” with hot springs in all rooms with 11 independent villas scattered in the forest. In addition, there are two accommodations, “Hakone Retreat fore”, which offers a simple and modern hotel style where you can enjoy the evolutionary “small gathering” that is not a traditional hot spring inn, and two accommodations where you can stay according to your preference. In each case, when you open the window, you can connect to the outdoors and experience a relaxing time with a beautiful scene.

There are two restaurants that serve dishes made with ingredients that are fresh and blessed with the blessings of the locals. You can enjoy it. We also offer in-room dining in your room for a private stay.

The natural hot springs of Japanese cypress, which is surrounded by the deep green of the 200-meter-long wooden deck in the forest, and the SPA that relaxes the mind and body, are like a forest with seasonal scenery and SPA aroma treatment. You can enjoy the relaxation as if you were in a club.

In addition, the open space on the premises includes a lounge that offers authentic original blended coffee, bread made with homemade natural yeast, and a patisserie with pastry chef characteristics. There is also an open terrace where you can spend time outside the guest rooms, so you can spend a variety of ways.

We also recommend visiting nearby museums and cafes on a rental cycle, and the activities produced by the hotel. You can feel the comfortable nature of Hakone and feel the extraordinary life while bathing in the forest air.

Eighty Years After the War: A Reflection on the Preciousness of Ordinary Life YUKIKAZE – In Theaters Nationwide from August 15, 2025

“To Return Alive, To Bring Others Home Alive”

Opening nationwide on August 15, 2025—marking eighty years since the end of World War II—YUKIKAZE is a feature film based on the true story of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) destroyer Yukikaze, a vessel that rescued countless lives amid the horrors of war. A press screening was held in advance at the Sony Pictures screening room.

The destroyer Yukikaze, which served throughout the Pacific War, was renowned for rescuing numerous sailors thrown into the sea during fierce naval battles, surviving to the end of the war virtually unscathed. It earned the legendary moniker “the lucky ship.” This film brings to life the ship’s heroic journey, alongside the lives of those who persevered through one of the most turbulent eras in modern history.

Leading the cast is Yutaka Takenouchi as Captain Kazutoshi Terasawa—a fictional amalgamation inspired by the real-life captains of Yukikaze. Hiroshi Tamaki portrays Petty Officer First Class Kohei Hayase. Supporting roles are delivered by an ensemble of acclaimed actors including Daiken Okudaira, Rena Tanaka, Kanji Ishimaru, and Toru Masuoka. Kiichi Nakai delivers a commanding performance as Vice Admiral Seiichi Itō, the Second Fleet Commander of the IJN who met his fate aboard the battleship Yamato.

In today’s world, once again shaken by division and violence, YUKIKAZE poses an urgent question to those of us living in the peace that others fought to protect: Are we once again treading the path of past mistakes? As collective memory of the war fades, this film becomes ever more vital—a call to reflect on the true value of peace.
