“Togenkyo Hanami” where you can rent a peach farm and enjoy cherry blossom viewing gracefully

2021.02.13

At Japan’s first glamping resort “Hoshinoya Fuji”, “Togenkyo Hanami” will be held from April 5th to 20th, 2021. The chartered peach farm is dotted with special seats with tables, chairs and blankets. You can enjoy a crepe suzette with cold ice cream on a hot crepe boiled in peach and caramel sauce using skillet. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery that can only be seen at this time, taste the sweets, and feel graceful while avoiding the three crowds.

Considering the situation where local events are being canceled one after another due to the influence of the new coronavirus, Hoshinoya Fuji has been considering new services that can contribute to regional revitalization. Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is “the number one peach producing area in Japan” where 23,000 tons of peaches are harvested annually. (* 1) The edible peach fruit peach (peach) is said to be characterized by its gorgeousness, which has flowers from the base of the branch to the tip, unlike the cherry blossoms that have flowers at the tip of the branch.

We wanted to spread the beauty of peach blossoms that can only be seen in the production areas, so we developed this tour in collaboration with the peach farm “Takaramomoen” in Fuefuki City and “Fujikyu Yamanashi Higher” in Fujiyoshida City. We would like to work together with the local tourism industry to overcome the protracted “with corona era.”

Special seat surrounded by peach blossoms in full bloom

The stage of cherry blossom viewing is the peach farm in Fuefuki City. The peach farm, which has not been open to the public until now, will be reserved for this plan only. Enjoy peach blossom viewing in a special seat with tables and chairs. The scenery of the peach blossoms and the snow-capped mountains, including the Southern Alps that spreads far away, is a spectacular view unique to this period. You can enjoy not only the view but also the slightly sweet scent like apricot kernel.

Crepe suzette to taste peach

While watching the peach blossoms, you can enjoy a crepe suzette with cold ice cream on a hot crepe boiled in peach and caramel sauce using skillet. You can enjoy it with sparkling wine. You can experience the elegance of the crepe suzette, which tastes peaches, while gazing at the gorgeous scenery that spreads out in front of you.

We value the philosophy that “beautiful scenery makes delicious peaches”. The beautiful and rich scenery makes delicious peaches, just as the fish in the beautiful and pure clear stream are wonderful. Enjoy a spectacular peach blossom carnival for peach fruit and the beautiful scenery of delicious peaches.
