Holding background

This event is supported by the Japan Tourism Agency’s “Diversification of Tourist Attraction and Profitability Improvement Project” of the Japan Tourism Agency for the reconstruction of the Tenryukyo Onsen area that was damaged by the heavy rain in July 2020.

As a “new content creation plan for Tenryukyo Onsen,” many groups that love Tenryukyo, including the Tourism Association, are working together to hold the event.
In the harsh situation of holding the event in the corona wreck, the venue was set up outdoors as a countermeasure against infectious diseases, and the stamp rally introduced a non-contact QR code type.

In addition, the event was focused on Iida City and Nagano Prefecture, and was conscious of “micro tourism” where you can rediscover the charm of the local area.
