[Tokyo Rikugien] Special nighttime viewing: illumination of the garden decorated with autumn leaves

From November 23 (Wed, national holiday) to December 4 (Sun), “Special Night Viewing of Autumn Leaves in Rikugien” will be held to enjoy the beautiful reflection of various autumn leaves on the water surface, from the lush green of early autumn to the red and golden colors of the famous Nanokino-momiji trees.

Special Autumn Night Garden Viewing

The park will be lit up mainly in the autumn foliage area. This year, a new nighttime viewing route has been added, allowing visitors to enjoy the view from the Togetsukyo Bridge. Please enjoy the new look of Rikugien.

Projection on the wall of the storehouse

The storehouse built in the Iwasaki family’s time will be utilized for the projection on the wall. Please look forward to this first attempt.

Details will be announced on the Rikugien website at a later date.

Rest Area Photo Spot

Several photogenic photo spots will appear in Rikugien Garden, which is enveloped in the autumn leaves. Enjoy taking commemorative photos with the elegant Rikyu umbrellas and scarlet carpets in the background.

Bunkyo-ku Shopping Street Support Project

Stores affiliated with the Bunkyo-ku Shopping District Federation open their stores to revitalize the Bunkyo-ku area, the location of Rikugien. Together with the local shopping streets, we will enliven the Bunkyo-ku area.

Green tea teahouse

Matcha and Japanese confectionery sets, original Rikugien souvenirs, and other items perfect for taking a break during a stroll will be on sale.

Tea house used as a tea ceremony site

Light refreshments, original Rikugien souvenirs, etc. will be available for purchase.

[KYUKAMURA OHMI-HACHIMAN]Tour of Lake Biwa’s famous landmarks ‘Enjoying “Biwa Ichi” by bus – around Lake Biwa’ tour.

The resort hotel ‘KYUKAMURA OHMI-HACHIMAN’, located on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, in Omi Hachiman City, known for its Omi merchants and Azuchi Castle, is inviting participants to join the ‘Biwaichi’ bus tour, which immerses them in the historical romance of Shiga Prefecture, which has flourished as a key transport hub since ancient times, close to Kyoto and Nara.
