The Tsukuba Plum Grove is located halfway up Mt. Tsukuba (around 250 meters above sea level) and is one of the highlights of the Mt. Tsukuba Regional Geopark.
The 50th Mt.Tsukuba Plum Festival, which is an early spring tradition, will be held from February 18 (Sat) to March 19 (Sun), 2023.
Mt.Tsukuba plum grove, which has reached spring, has about 1,000 plum blossoms from February to March, showing us the most beautiful appearance of the year.
From the “Viewing platform Azumaya” at the top of the plum grove, visitors can enjoy the view of plum blossoms, the rural landscape at the foot of Mt.Tsukuba, the cityscape of Science City, Tokyo Sky Tree and Mt.Fuji.
