“Stucco fan” with antiviral, antibacterial and deodorant effects

2020.10.03

Miyawaki Folding Fan Co., Ltd., a long-established store of Kyoto Folding Fans, has released the original design “Stucco Folding Fan” with antiviral, antibacterial and deodorant effects.

Stucco fan (with antiviral, antibacterial, deodorant, and harmful substance adsorption and removal functions)

◇ Apply plaster with antiviral and antibacterial functions on both sides of the fan surface
The ingredients become strongly alkaline, but the surface layer reacts with carbon dioxide in the air to neutralize it, so you can use it without problems even if you touch it.

◇ Antiviral / antibacterial mechanism
Stucco with anti-virus and anti-bacterial functions forms a “porous” layer, and viruses and bacteria enter the inside of the coating film from the surface. Inside the coating film, strong alkaline components decompose and inactivate viruses and bacterial proteins.

◇ Effective against pet odors and daily odors
With the same mechanism, it also has a deodorizing effect that adsorbs and decomposes acidic daily odors such as sweat, cigarette odors, and pet odors. It also adsorbs and detoxifies harmful substances such as formaldehyde, toluene, and xylene.

* Precautions for use
・ Do not put the folding fan in your mouth or lick the coated surface.
・ If the fan gets wet, spread it out and dry it thoroughly before using it.

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, various initiatives are being implemented, such as wearing masks regardless of the season and keeping a distance from people, in accordance with the new lifestyle. Among them, we hope that you can use the plaster fan to hide your mouth during conversation, decorate your living space such as the entrance or desk, and use it for infection prevention measures through various uses.

Miyawaki Saotoan
Founded in 1823, Miyawaki Folding Fan is a store specializing in Kyoto folding fans. The name “Saisen-an” was named by the Japanese-style painter Tomioka Tessai. In addition, there are ceiling paintings drawn by the master painters of Kyoto paintings such as Takeuchi Seiho, Kamisaka Sekka, and Suzuki Shonen, and they have a deep connection with famous Japanese painters. Even now, we maintain the division of labor system for Kyoto folding fans in Japan, mainly in Kyoto. In recent years, it has been attracting attention, such as collaborating with famous brands and announcing a folding fan that combines traditional lacquer lacquer painting techniques and diamonds for the ribs of the folding fan.
