[Kuzefuku Shoten]Three recommended gifts to celebrate the New Year.

2025.01.06

Since December 2024, KUZE FUKU SHOTEN shops nationwide have been selling limited-edition year-end and New Year’s products, including a ‘zodiac baum’ with a design of a snake, the Chinese zodiac sign for 2025, perfect for New Year’s greetings.

Die-cut baum, zodiac sign Snake

The die-cut baum is a moist and fluffy ‘flat baked’ baumkuchen. The surface is baked so that it is white so that the print shows through. The low sweetness makes it a delight for all ages.

This is the third year that the zodiac baumkuchen has been on sale. While keeping the design simple, we have added a touch of cuteness and designed a snake, the Chinese zodiac sign for the year 2025. We recommend this product as a festive way to start the New Year.

New Year's gift - set of 2 Kusefuku dashi

This set of two dashi products includes Kuze Fuku Shoten’s signature product, 5p of tasty all-purpose dashi, and 5p of Kuze Fuku’s luxury dashi of the finest, made with buyer-selected flavouring ingredients. The set is decorated with the words ‘Gonenga’ (New Year’s greeting) and a kadomatsu, a symbol of the New Year, for use as a New Year’s greeting.

6 assorted red and white soup in the middle.

Kusefuku Shoten’s popular ‘Osuimono Monaka’ is now available in a limited set for the end of the year and New Year holidays. Simply pierce a hole in the middle and fill with hot water to enjoy a bowl of Osuimono. The ingredients inside are filled by hand, one at a time, and the deliciousness of the ingredients combined with the sticky texture of the Zu makes this a very satisfying product.
