It is an event that you can enjoy while avoiding crowds by taking advantage of the characteristics of the open facility facing the sea.

At the seaside art festival, Okinawan-born and Okinawa-raised artists who will lead the next generation of Okinawan culture will gather at Banta Cafe.

They performed their works at solo exhibitions, art events, and the welcome gate of concerts at home and abroad, but many events were canceled due to the influence of Corona. We decided to hold an event because we wanted to know more about their wonderful works and to support their activities.

Colorful art that colors the seaside scenery

During the event, art will be displayed in various parts of the Banta Cafe, which takes advantage of the seaside terrain. The artists visit Banta Cafe from the planning stage, touch the sea and the nature of the seaside in front of them, and devise a plan. Participants can relax on the sofa with the same pattern as the work becomes a fabric and flutters in the wind on the “seaside terrace” on the walking path leading from the top of the cliff to the beach.

In addition, in the “Korokoro Lounge” where you can see the sea from the window on the wall, you can see a new view with art that floats on the horizon. You can also put an event-limited sticker in collaboration with four artists on the cup that serves drinks, and enjoy their work anywhere.
