The Toyota Museum, a cultural facility operated by Toyota Motor Corporation, will be exhibiting at ‘Coppa Centro Giappone 2026’, which will be held at Hisaya Odori Park (Nagoya) from Thursday 28 May to Saturday 30 May 2026.
Coppa Centro Giappone, whose name combines the Italian words for ‘cup’ and ‘centre’, is an event based in Nagoya—the heart of Japan—that aims to become the ‘centre of global automotive culture’. It showcases the history and cultural significance of the automotive industry to the world. Having begun in autumn 2022, this year marks its fifth edition.
As the core of Toyota’s automotive heritage initiative, ‘TOYOTA CLASSIC’, our museum is responsible for ‘creating spaces to experience automotive culture’ and ‘preserving and passing on heritage cars’. This marks our second consecutive year of participation. In line with the organisers’ theme, ‘Concorso d’eleganza with TOYOTA AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM: CARS of STUDIO GHIBLI – From Film to City’, we are collaborating with Studio Ghibli Park, a neighbouring facility, to exhibit five vehicles associated with Studio Ghibli films, centred on our own collection. By viewing the vehicles alongside the scenes in which they appear in the films, we hope visitors will feel a closer connection to and enjoy the world of automobiles and Studio Ghibli’s works.
