The Kumamoto earthquake, which recorded a seismic intensity of 7 on April 14, 2016, also severely damaged Koshoji Temple in Uki City. A few years after the earthquake, the surroundings calmed down and started the reconstruction of the temple, but the supporters were calm and the repairs were limited to the minimum. Mr. Itoyama is running around as a volunteer, putting off the reconstruction of his own temple.
One Story Co., Ltd., in consultation with Kosho-ji Temple, which was damaged in Kumamoto, launched crowdfunding to raise funds to repair the palace that houses the Buddha statue. It will be held until May 28, 2021.
Chiryu City is a religious land, and many craftsmen involved in Buddhist altars live there. The Chiryu City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Department, to which Mr. Hirasawa belongs, also has a member who runs a Buddhist altar shop in Chiryu, and consulted about repairing the temple.
The Mikawa Buddhist altar, which is a nationally designated traditional craft, is declining sharply, and I am wondering if it is possible to maintain the technology of the Mikawa Buddhist altar at the same time while supporting Kumamoto.
We have prepared special products from Uki City, Kumamoto Prefecture, as rewards for crowdfunding. In addition, as the temples are moving away, we are also preparing tickets for events held at the temple so that you can visit Kosho-ji Temple, which is aiming for reconstruction, from all over the country.

Japan does not know where the disaster will occur. I don’t know when my area will be called a disaster area. The area around Uki City will be rebuilt by ourselves after the earthquake, but we will try to make people all over the country know about products that are full of our own feelings. We would like to create an opportunity to connect with the disaster area.
Supporters can not only support but also connect with each other as well as Kumamoto while touching the stories of Kosho-ji Temple, farmers, and writers. You should be able to contribute to society while expanding your friendships nationwide.
