I want to convey Japanese culture overseas in an online calligraphy class

2021.05.10

In the wake of the severe situation of face-to-face calligraphy classes due to the influence of the new coronavirus, we have opened a remote calligraphy class using digital technology for the domestic market. In addition to turning the calligraphy classroom into an online distribution studio, it has become possible with the establishment of the “Ashibe Shoen” overseas master certification system of the calligraphy association.

Established a full-fledged calligraphy department where you can obtain a master's license overseas

In addition to establishing the know-how of making calligraphy classes online, the establishment of a system for accrediting teachers for overseas of “Ashibe Shoen” of the calligraphy association has made it possible to realize a teacher license course for overseas (Japanese support) and live overseas. It paved the way for the succession of Japanese culture by the Japanese people. Online lessons with Japanese people living in New York, which I started experimentally, are progressing smoothly, and I would like to continue teaching Japanese-speaking people around the world.
